Cutting a Belgian cello bridge. If you habe some good quality bridge maple, cello bridges do not take too long to make from scratch.
Even ready cut blanks need extensive trimming. I simply roughed this one with a piercing saw - then all the trimming cuts are done with a knife.This one is based on a Despiau xxx pattern - to give them credit. It still needs extensive trimming to final shape and weight.
