The Guadagnini cello bassbar close to its final shape. The top plate can now be given a final thinning with regard
its weight, stiffness under hand, main tap tone etc. Its currently just over C sharp, 140Hz and is 550 grams.
The bar can still lose some - as can the upper and lower wings. Part of me would like a few grams less and a lower tone -
and another part says its ok ! I shall probably reduce the 'lungs' a bit which will drop the tone.
